On behalf of the Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation, I would like to thank you for your generous support of the 2026 BHOF “Be Bone Strong” NYC Marathon Team! This is a cause near and dear to my heart.
My Nana was diagnosed with osteoporosis when I was in middle school. Ever since, she has instilled the importance of bone health in me. She's my constant inspiration to take care of my body. At 82 years old, she's active every day and has taught me that you can do hard things despite challenges or obstacles. She is why I have decided to run the NYC marathon with the "Be Bone Strong" team.
BHOF's mission has never been more critical: osteoporotic fractures are responsible for more hospitalizations than heart attacks, strokes, and breast cancer combined. People’s experience with osteoporosis varies greatly, but the good news is that it is manageable disease. But we need your help!
The Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF) is the leading health organization dedicated to preventing osteoporosis and broken bones, promoting strong bones for life, and reducing human suffering through programs of public and clinician awareness, education, advocacy and research.

Our “Be Bone Strong” team will work to raise much-needed funds to help BHOF improve patient care, support those who have broken bones due to osteoporosis, and educate the public about this chronic but preventable disease.
