Osteoporosis is a major public health threat for an estimated 54 million Americans. Up to one in two women and one in four men over the age of 50 will break a bone due to osteoporosis in their lifetime. The Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF) is the nation’s only health organization solely dedicated to osteoporosis and bone health.
BHOF works to improve patient care and support for those who have broken bones due to osteoporosis, as well as educate the public to prevent the disease, promoting strong bones for life.
Have you experienced osteoporosis as a patient or caregiver? If so, we invite you to share your story. Your story could inspire others to learn how to protect their ability to live their best life and stay bone strong.
